After working in the education field, Jerry shifted to full-time speaking in schools throughout the US. In the last sixteen years, he has developed a bullying prevention group I Will Defend and has spoken to over one million students. In addition, he provides training and coaching to families and parents in the areas of social media awareness and safety.
In 2019, Ackerman moved into the contracted role of Development and Program Management for WHOLE TSI. In this role, Jerry helps develop new clients and manages numerous programs with existing clients. His entrepreneurial strengths are great addition to the WTSI team.
As a public speaking feedback coach, presenter, and Campfire Methodology counselor for WTSI, Jerry brings that his student, corporate, and business experience to every course attendee. With a coaching list that includes Honeywell, StateFarm, ESPN, and Jarden Services - Jerry helps clients understand public speaking and corporate presentations at a deeper level. For a deeper coaching dive during a WTSI presentations course, Ackerman can provide one-on-one feedback to your attendees. As well Ackerman is trained in the WHOLE Approach "Colors of Life" emotional intelligence testing and training.
